Archan Thep was born in Khonkaen province. When he was 7 years old, he went to stay with grandfather and grandmother at Chaiyaphum province. Archan Thep's grandparents were the exorcists in the village. Archan Thep learned the visha from his grandparents during his childhood. Then Archan Thep was ordained as novice monk at Wat Sakoet. He then went to learn the magic from his aunt who was magical archan of Wat Sakoet for 2 years. After that, Archan Thep went to learn magic with LP Woraphot at Wat Joomphon for another 2 years. Moreover, Archan Thep went into the jungle to learn magic and practice meditation. Thus, at the age of 13, he is already a qualified archan. Archan Thep's amulet were all created by him and each of the every single piece were made by his own hand, thus every piece of bucha and amulets are unique. Every amulet made is consecrated and blessed by him together with some other high monks and archan. Recently, Archan Thep was ordained as a full buddhist monk.
Kumanthong in the Coffin
This batch of Kumanthing is made only 99 pieces. The wooden box is made of real used coffin wood. As explained by AC Thep, the materials used in making this batch of Kumanthong are very special such as Pong Prai Guman, Soil from 7 cemeteries, bone fragments of a kid that died in the accident, 2 pieces of takrut personally written by AC Thep, Namman Prai and also the white string used to tie corpse. This batch of Kumanthong is good in bring wealth and luck for the owner who keep them.
According to AC Thep, This is so far the most special and strongly recommended by him as this batch of Kumanthong gone through the special chanting ceremony in the temple which participated by Phra Ajahn Ao, Luang Phor Amnard, Ajahn Ves, Ajahn Veerathep, Luang Phor Ponsit, Ajahn Oon, Ajahn Teeradej and Luang Phor Dum. Besides, the left over pieces in temple will be taken to the Wai Kru Ceremony of Phra Ajahn Ao for another round of blessing and chanting, believes to be participated by Kruba Thammunee, Ajahn Ao and Luang Phor Amnard.
